The value of a day.

A year is too large to hold and a month too vague to keep. A day can be planned, kept, and finished. A life is made of nothing else.

01About

We build products that make an ordinary day worth more.

DWMYL builds AI-native products and services that compound the value of a day.

We do not believe a good year is planned. We believe it is assembled. The name reads Day, Week, Month, Year, Life, and the order is the argument. A life is not designed from the top down. It is built from the day up, and the day is the only unit a person can hold.

Every product takes one part of an ordinary day, the hour it starts, the energy that runs it, the time it is measured in, and makes that part better. We build them and we run them ourselves. We weigh many ideas and commit to few. Those that grow are meant, in time, to stand as companies of their own.

Everyday products, made to earn a place in your day.

Oprus

A world clock for people whose day is spread across time zones. It shows the hour where it matters, and nothing else. A full day sits on one timeline, kept true through every change of daylight saving, so the hours shared with colleagues, clients, and markets in other cities are clear at a glance. Every city has its own page, with sunrise, sunset, and public holidays, and any setup can be sent as a link that opens exactly as it was left.

Energy Intelligence

A daily read on energy markets for the people who trade in them, build in them, and plan around them. Each morning opens with a brief on what moved overnight and what matters now. The JKM, TTF, and Henry Hub benchmarks sit in one view, and a named risk, a shipping lane or a price spread, is watched and reported the moment it moves. It is built for teams whose business turns on LNG prices and cargoes.

Specialty coffee platform

It starts from the view that a café is where a city keeps its character. The first part is a written series on the cafés and roasters we would send a friend to, and on the people and ideas behind them. In time, the platform will bring their coffee to readers wherever they live, and give each café customers far beyond its own street, so that anyone can come to know a city through a cup.

  2. SEY Coffee, the transparent art of light roasting in Brooklyn
  3. Little Nap Coffee Stand, where Tokyo’s coffee stand culture was born
  4. Champ Coffee, the quiet strength of Seoul’s specialty coffee scene
  5. Joe Coffee, two decades of craft, culture, and connection in NYC
03House rules

Four rules that apply to everything we build, without exception.

They hold from the first day of work to the last. They are not aspirations. They are the terms on which we would rather lose a deal than win one.

  1. Never sell what you would not buy.
  2. Treat the world as the home market.
  3. Do it properly, or not at all.
  4. Take years. Build for decades.
